Profile of the graduate
Students get broad and complex knowledge in the field of company and public finance, tax and fee administration in the Czech taxation system. They will also be skilful at financial accounting of businesses, budgetary and contribution organizations and local councils, including non-profitmaking organizations which work according to accounting system issued by the Ministry of Finance No.V/20531/1992. They will be able to carry out a financial analysis of a company or a non-profitmaking organization. Their knowledge together with practical experience will enable them to carry out revision and supervision activities in the field of finance and taxes.They will be prepared to use computers incl.Internet and company’s Intranet. Moreover, they will have a good command of civil, commercial and labour laws. Advanced knowledge of two world languages acoording to students´s choice is also relevant for effective performance in a wide range of business occupations. High standard of English language teaching enable our students to pass the Cambridge First Certificate examination. The course is designed to provide a broad-based programme of achievement as a foundation for a range of careers in the private and public sectors. The graduates can work as specialists for companies in finance and accounting departments or for local authorities and councils, tax offices and social welfare administration. After passing required examinations, they are able to work as tax consultants.
