Profile of the course Economic computer informatics is a new course evocated by the development and mass introduction of computers into the economic and business spheres, managerial activities and state and public administration. This course corresponds with the above mentioned course of financial control and management. Students have the same load of the main professional subjects and foreign languages but they get much more information in the field of informatics, computer science and application of computers in the economic and business spheres. They have broadened knowledge of computers and computer networks, standard application programme systems, they know how to apply computer science nad will be able to suggest new ways of applications in their future jobs and evaluate the efficiency of these applications. They have good command of basic hardware and software adjustments for the best setting of work conditions. After finishing this course, the students will be able to manage and evaluate work of their colleagues with help of computers. Computer science is being taught from the first form and is compulsory for the graduation exam.
